This guesthouse has excellent location, close to the train station, castle and shopping center for an affordable price. The room was large enough, well equipped, with air conditioning, mini fridge, kettle, free wifi. Mineral water, coffee, tea, sweets in the room. The bathroom is spacious, with complete accessories for hygiene. Breakfast is served as a buffet, there are 10 options on the breakfast menu. Guesthouse is also able to fulfill your individual needs regarding food. We didn't use the outside terrace with seating, due to the visit in November, but it is definitely a great added value of this place. Secure parking is in the closed yard of the guesthouse. However, the greatest quality is the very professional, kind, cordial, willing and communicative owner who will take care of you with a smile on his face. Thank you

Large rooms, well facilitated. Private parking space. The city center is a 15 minute walk. Good breakfast where you can also choose a warm dish.

I really enjoyed my stay at Penzión Tiberia and the next time I visit Trenčín I will definitely stay there again. It was comfortable and very clean and as a woman traveling alone I felt totally safe. Also a big plus point if you are traveling in the warmer months is the garden in the backyard which is usable for guests (if you're lucky, you get accompanied by their two cute cats). It was overall quiet, sometimes I could hear some other guests coming back etc, but it wasn't really bothering. The staff is super friendly and if your slovak skills aren't that good, there is no problem communicating in english. You can walk into the city center, it's a quick 15 minute walk and for the main railway station it's the same.

Nice little pension, close to the train station in a beautiful city. I was staying for a night stop in a longer train travel, and it was very convenient that the train station was at a walking distance. The room was bigger than expected, and it was well equipped, it had instant coffee, tea, a kettle and even a fridge. Also there was a free bottle of water on the table. The bed was also very comfortable. The staff was nice, the same lady greeted me at the reception at check in who was in charge of the breakfast the next morning. Breakfast is á la carte, you can order from a menu (I ordered the fried eggs, and it was made of 3 eggs and some vegetables as decoration) and there are also some buffet items like yogurts, jams and muffins. Overall I felt very satisfied with my stay. The old town was a bit far, but at a walkable distance, it wasn't a problem to get there by foot.
