The location was excellent and with secure bike storage we were able to drop our bikes off and explore the area on foot. I appreciated that our host offered to do our laundry and delivered it all folded up the same day. We enjoyed a few drinks on the terrace before heading off to bed and the breakfast the next morning was lovely.

Really great location overlooking the Mosel. Burg Eltz is not far (either hiking or driving). Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is solid. The house itself looks charming. One of the rooms we had was in the tower looking out to the river which was really lovely.

Beautiful old villa on the shores of the Mosel river, with a large terrace overlooking the hills and water. Located near a lovely tiny village centre. My dog was allowed to sleep in the room, on the floor next to me. Friendly owner. Breakfast for a small place with only 6 rooms was more than we bargained for. Fresh buns were delivered by the local baker in the morning. The rooms were more spacious than on the pictures, and the wooden balconies overlooking the Mosel are great, especially in the morning when the sun comes up. The house is a short drive away from BURG ELTZ. Great if you want to hit the castle early before all the hordes of tourists arrive.

The service was fantastic. We were well looked after by the host, nothing was a problem. The building is beautiful. The sun terrace, where one can enjoy food and drinks with a view of the Mosel is wonderful. Comfortable, simple room. Excellent securing storage for our bicycles.
