The breakfast was very good with fresh bread and croissants from the baker each morning. The location is very rural and attractive and the hosts were very attentive and helpful. Our room had a nice view over the apple orchard.

The location was good for Bayeux and the D-Day area The host spoke good English and was very efficient Terrace room with private garden

The breakfast was very good, nice to be offered cooked eggs and crepes. The bathroom was spacious and both this and the bedroom were very clean with a comfortable bed. It was nice to have a lounge area on the property.

Our Second stay Perfect beautiful peaceful countryside yet minutes from Arromanches-les-Bains and Bayeux Spotlessly clean each ensuite room is stylish and furnished perfectly The hosts are so caring and welcoming and thoughtful The massive breakfast table is a multi nation delight the perfect way to start the day Home grown Apple juice and Cider are just another plus to this wonderful retreat

As we were self catering we had breakfast on day 1 which was adequate but nothing special. Our room was very private and quiet which was excellent. Also, the information which Laurence had supplied with places to visit and eat was very helpful.

The breakfast was substantial and set us up for the day. Something for everyone. The hosts were friendly and prepared the eggs and crepes as requested. Being 3km from Arromanches and 8km from Bayeux put us in an excellent position to visit all the D-Day beaches and museums.
