Charming hotel, close to the Old Town. The room was clean and cosy with lovely glassed balcony and the river view. Breakfast was served from 7 till 10 or 11 (scrumble and boiled eggs, sausages, varied range of dairy products and so on). There is a possibility to buy local alcohol in the hotel bar e.g. ginger beer.

Everything! We have got a small kitchen, bedroom, and everything that we need. Biggest compliments to the service staff: if you have special dietary needs, you can get gluten-free and lactose-free food options upon prior request. Love this place and hugely recommend it!

Ok view and size of room, included a balcony and a view of the river, even if this was limited as I was placed on the first floor.

I had an issue with the hotel as at first they refused my service dog, a small one, hypoallergenic. I emailed the owner a link to the Polish law stipulating that service dogs can’t have their access refused nor hotels can charge for it. The owner never responded to me, but Booking.com solved the issue and we had a nice stay. Great location, nice rooms, rooms at the front of the building can be noisy

Exceptional location, the hotel house near the river is superb, amazing views and nice sitting place in the balcony. The room was nicely decorated, comfy bed, hairdrayer in the bathroom. Breakfast and coffee good.

This is a small and cosy hotel situated in an old house right in the centre of the town, next door to the Living Museum of Gingerbread. It has 4 floors, each with 3-4 rooms. I had a room on the 4th floor, below the attic. The room was nice, clean, there was a fridge and a coffee maker, wifi worked well. I could not wish for more. I did not take breakfast in the hotel, as I was often leaving very early. Toruń has a relatively small and compact centre, which cen be easily discovered on foot from the hotel. There are many shops and restaurants all around and yes, of course, there are many gingerbread shops there as well. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at the Czarna Róża hotel and I would choose it for my next visit to Toruń again.

This nice little hotel is right in the centre of Torun's old town, next door to the Gingerbread Museum and 5 min from most tourist sights. We stayed in the new wing, which is equipped with a lift and the room has a roofed balcony with views of the Vistula and the park (although it's summer and the views are blocked by the trees). The room is nice and comfortable, equipped with fridge, kettle, air-condition and the bathroom is of a decent size. The shower works well. The ladies at the reception are very helpful and friendly.

Very convenient location right next to the living museum of gingerbread and very central. Hotel has a very nice little back garden courtyard.
