The breakfast was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Wonderful view from the patio. The boat tour and the night tour led by Lewis were amazing. He is passionate about the area and is so interesting when talking about the wildlife. He knew where to look and we took some fantastic photos. Eric took us on the walk and was equally as good but the fact that Lewis works for the hotel is a major feather in it's cap.

Casa Marbella was a really nice place to stay next to the river in the middle of the village. The terrace is great and you can see beautiful sunsets. The people are really friendly and the rooms where clean and comfortable

Very central location and great deck looking out over the river. Breakfast was good. Nelda in the office was really helpful and kind. It was easy to arange tours and the boat to Pavona. Room was ok but could do with a more reliable shower and the sink sometimes allowed smell from drains in to the room.

The view from the hotel is amazing! The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The top of our trip were the tours we got from the hotel. We did both the boat and walking one with Luis and it was simply amazing. He is very knowledgeable and had an eye for spotting fauna. He offered us rain ponchos and boots for free without us having to ask for them.

- room sufficient for 2-3 nights - the accommodation is reached directly by boat and you are picked up directly from there on the return journey - so no luggage has to be lugged around - terrace and breakfast area right on the water - very nice; Breakfast was good - fruit platter and choice between pancakes and egg dish, coffee delicious - centrally located in the village of Tortuguero and just a 10-minute walk from the National Park entrance and 5 minutes to the beach

This was a cute little Casa right in the center of Tortuguero village. I was a bit confused of the layout of the village from Google Maps and so the property was even more central than I expected (the village is only 1 km long but this is positioned nicely) with just a short walk over to the beach and deck chairs looking out on to the canal for the evening time. Met friendly people here and also organised my walking tours with the hotel too that were great for seeing the wildlife. The hotel organised for a water taxi to pick me up from Tortuguero airport and bring me right to their dock which just made the arrival so much smoother.
