very clean. excellent host, very friendly and helpful. the house is on the edge of nature, we saw howler monkeys in the tree above the house and spider monkeys 30 seconds away. if you want to immerse yourself in the place, I can recommend Casa Chilamates. tours organised with Rodrigo and Artur were incredible.

The location was great, right on the edge of the rainforest and the beach, national park and restaurants easy to reach. The property has many large windows which can be opened up to make it feel like you are right in the middle of the jungle. Staff were very friendly and check in was easy.

Spacious, well equipped kitchen, clean. Provided umbrellas. Excellent communication for co-ordinating arrival boat journey. A/C in one bedroom

Location was good in the edge of the national park, where we could see the wildlife. It was clean and kitchen facilities were good. They cleaned whilst we were there and the owner was very responsive when we needed help. We were met at La Pavona boat service and guided to the house in Tortuguero which was helpful.
