The house was nice with a good shower and kitchen. The setting in the jungle is lovely, you could hear howlers and green macaws and it’s otherwise quiet. The walk into town is easy and takes around 5 mins. It’s less to the beach. Not sure why people didn’t like the area in previous reviews, it’s certainly not a ghetto! Wifi was very good. You are met at the boat dock and walked to the house which is great but we got the impression this was more to sell you tours…

I could repeat and reiterate what others have said about the fantastic accommodation but I would like to thank and tell all of the unbelievable kind, helpful, and open hosts. Without them our holiday would not have started off so well. Can't say enough good about them....and the accommodation!

nice host, a lot of space, quietly located next to National park, kitchen the best we had in Costa Rica, great canoe tour with an extremely good guide organized by our host, you can watch a lot of animals (e.g. monkeys, tucana, hummingbirds) from your terrace
