Full payment for all bookings will be charged at the time of booking. All major credit and debit cards are accepted excluding American Express.All bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night. (Full, existing members of Hostelling Scotland and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund).Individual reservations (Up to 9 persons) - can cancel free of charge until 7 days before the arrival date. If cancelled within the 7 days before the arrival 100 percent of the total price will be charged.Groups reservations (more than 9 persons) - different policies and additional supplements will apply. More than 8 weeks (57 days or more) 20% of total cost. 8 – 4 weeks (56 - 29 days) 55% of total cost. 4 – 0 weeks (28 - 0 day) 100% of total cost.No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel.Should guests be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by Hostelling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used.From the age of 12 to 15 years, young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of the same gender when booking a bed within shared accommodation. Parties with young children (under 12 years) will only be accommodated in private rooms, where availableHostelling Scotland advise that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots.The reception times are variable: from April to October it opens 08.00 until 10.00 and from 17.00 until 22.00. November to March it opens 08.00 until 10.00 and from 16.00 until 21.00. Late arrival and access outside the opening hours is by pre-arrangement only. Guests are normally asked to vacate the property between 10.00 and 14.00 each day.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The entire hostel is incredibly cozy, with spacious rooms and excellent amenities. It's the perfect spot to kick off your explorations or simply relax and unwind.

It´s a great place in retro design yet with all the comfort you can imagine in a hostel. The double room was quiet and large, the facilities were clean and the panoramic lounge (with mountain view) was exceptional. The staff was really helpful and kind and the mini shop on site was well-equipped with snacks and beer. I hope I can get back someday.

Friendly, easygoing atmosphere. Great to share living space with likeminded, respectful people. Stunning walks (of course!) and perfect facilities to come home to after a walk.
