We enjoyed our stay here. Staff was friendly. It's conveniently located in the town where you can easily reach things by walking. Breakfast was good, offering typical Portuguese fare-breads, meats, cheeses, and sweets. The home is centuries old and the surroundings are stunning. It felt like you were in a museum, with everything accessible. Our beds were comfortable. We recommend a stay here.

Casa da Avó is just absolutely gorgeous! We truly felt at home. The room was spacious, homely and very clean and we even had a balcony. The bed was comfortable and my toddler also slept very well so I assume that the cot was also comfortable. The house itself is incredible and very well situated in the centre of town. The patio/garden was very pleasant, especially in the evenings when it wasn't so hot. Dona Ângela and Solange were the most welcoming and lovely hostesses and kept everything in order. The homemade jams and fresh bread were out favourite breakfast bit!
