The staff were amazing - welcoming and friendly. It was obvious they wanted visitors to enjoy their experience. The food at Shirley’s was fantastic and breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.

The Sands is an exceptionally warm welcoming environment. There really is no need to leave the facility if you don't want to as The Sands provides it all. The short walk to the beach is an added bonus. Staff are friendly, helpful, professional and nothing was too much trouble.

Check-in was very quick and easy. Staff was wonderful. We forgot some medication and Denise put it in the refrigerator and messaged us right away to arrange for pick up. Room was clean and spacious with a wonderful view.

It was a lovely room. Very clean. Dinner was awesome. We stayed on a Friday night so they had live music & pizza night. Staff were very friendly & comfy bed.

Comfy bed, clean, quiet, free parking, spacious room and bathroom. Challenging Golf course with driving range, chipping green and putting green...beware golfers, there is an insane number of bunkers (101 in total) across the course. 5min drive to Torquay town centre where there are great places to eat.
