The hotel was well situated with plenty of parking. Erica, the host, was so lovely and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Our bedroom was a very good size, clean and well equipped with toiletries and extra treats. Ginny, our dog, received a sausage at breakfast and was made a fuss of. Erica even gave us sandwiches and water bottles to take on our walks - without us even asking. A lovely hotel.

We were met by Erica on arrival who was most helpful and welcoming during our stay. Hotel was very clean and tidy, in a great location. Would definitely return and recommend for anyone visiting Torquay.

Erica was a brilliant host and was very friendly and attentive to our breakfast needs. The breakfast was delicious. I felt more choice for kids breakfast could have been offered. The hotel was homely and cosy, although an old building.

Lovely old character property. Once you get over the steep driveway you’ll be welcomed with a delightful smile and a warm welcome. Our room was lovely and had a drinks fridge, which was a bonus as I like fresh milk in my morning coffee and I did not see that listed on the itinerary. The en-suite was lovely and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the free treats too. Breakfast (full English 👌)was generous and well cooked and presented. More tea and toast offered too if you wanted. Nice walk into the town a bit of a climb to come back but super close to everything. Bus stop very close literally the bottom of the driveway. We would definitely stay again xx Thank you Erica x
