Wendy and Steve were very welcoming and friendly. . The place was very homely. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in any hotel. They also gave us great suggestions for sightseeing. We will definitely go back to that hotel.

A great place to stay the room was spotless and well equipped. Excellent breakfast and good choices cooked to perfection both days. Wendy and Steve were great hosts and I will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you both for making our trip a pleasurable experience, it certainly won't be our last trip.

Wendy and Steve were great host's, welcomed you with a smile, and were given lots of information. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, lots of choice. Nice you could help your self to mince pies, milk and water. The Bedroom was huge, with two big window's, nice and warm, and in the bathroom, nice compliments and soft towels.

Location was excellent a ten minute walk from the front/restaurants but far enough away so it wasn’t noisy. The room was spotless and well equipped. The bed was so comfortable. I loved the bar area, with background music and a few games and books to look at I chilled in here both evenings during my stay. Great selection in the bar itself. Wendy and Steve were fantastic and the breakfast was positively the best cooked breakfast I’ve ever had!! I didn’t want to come home!!

Friendly and helpful host and staff, exceptionally clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and room was well proportioned, sitting room and dining area were welcoming and functional and made us feel at home

The Berburry Hotel Torquay September 2024 Wendy & Steve who run the hotel were exceptional hosts, they made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was amazing, the rooms were lovely & clean & a good size, the garden with seating outside was lovely & you could tell it was well looked after. The homemade cake (made by Wendy) for guests to help themselves to was an added bonus & tasted lovely. I would certainly recommend the Berburry Hotel to anyone wishing to visit Torquay. Thank you to you both for making our first visit to Torquay a pleasurable experience, it certainly won't be our last visit.
