Breakfast was excellent, great location to the marina. Hosts could not do enough for you. The Griffin Bar on the ground floor has to be seen at the weekend to be believed, great live music.

Straight forward check in, rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast is served in The Griffin Pub underneath the hotel, tables laid out ready for you with a rough prearranged time with reception. Fridge in room and tea making facilities also just bring your own tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Close to the main strip although the hill climb might be an issue for some! We'd definitely stay again

Ample parking, but make sure you display the card in your window provided at check-in. Check-in was smooth and the staff were all very friendly and approachable throughout our stay. The decor and soft furnishings throughout needs updating to give it more appeal. The room was of a decent size and was clean. A little disappointing that tea/coffee etc is no longer provided but we were told in advance and so took our own. The ensuite would benefit from a radiator and a fan as it got a little steamy after a shower. If you wear fake tan or make up, take your own towels so as not to get charged for laundering. Breakfasts were really good. Location was ideal. We had no real issues during our stay causing us to make any complaints and would stay again if in Torquay.

We stayed in a superior double, which had a huge comfortable bed, good sized room, with a superb layered view down into the harbour. Very close to town. Accepts visitors with dogs, there is a park at the bottom of Museum Rd, which is super for dogs. We arrived quite late from a long drive down from Liverpool; Steve was very welcoming and gave super clear instructions and information, Breakie at £10 extra each for one morning was more than adequate. Despite live music and music being played in the basement bar each night we heard nothing from our room. Lovely quiet stay. Thank you.
