Kul (pronounced cool) the owner clearly puts everything into running the hotel. The breakfast was exceptional using quality local ingredients and a full spread of fresh fruit, yogurts and cereal included. With the left over fruit, Kul makes home made jam from it and it is the best jam ever. The hotel in a 15 minute walk to the harbour and about 7 minute walk to the beach, so it is in a great, quiet location. Kul deserves his exceptionally high hotel rating as nothing is a problem for him.

Wonderful place with a fantastic host. Comfortable bed, breakfasts that beat any we have had in UK and abroad. Certainly the best host we have ever had, his attention to detail and ensuring your comfort is second to none.

Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast.was good with plenty of choice. Kul, the owner, was very obliging helping us with our luggage and providing a refreshing drink on arrival. Will definitely stay here on next trip to Torquay.

Lovely welcome from Kul the host. Spotlessly clean, beautiful room with all facilities. Great breakfast with abundance of choice. Was a little cold the first night but central heating was on second night so nice and warm

Bedrooms and bathroom very good breakfast first class you could not ask for more close to bus stops for town center brixham and dawlish
