TOE LIBRARY is an absolute gem - amazing location (next to the Sumida river, close to Senso-Ji and Asakusa Station), quite roomy, super comfy beds and great amenities. To top it off, the staff is so extremely nice, warm and welcoming that it really makes the experience special. Thanks Yoshi!

Really nice place, well located in a quiet area of Asakusa. The room was a good size and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Location, quiet, cozy, clean and so cool… hosts were amazing!!! Yoshi and his team made us feel very comfortable and our stay in Tokyo very enjoyable. We will definitely be back…

10 out of 10. The hotel boasts tasteful and elegant decor. The rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained, featuring high-quality amenities. Both the rooms and the surrounding area are exceptionally quiet. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The room is equipped with a selection of CDs, numerous books, a CD player, a Polaroid, and a projector, adding a unique touch to the stay. The owner of the hotel is very warm and friendly, even offering small gifts and taking photos for guests. The staff are also friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for interesting nearby attractions and local restaurants. This hotel will be my top choice for accommodation when I return to Tokyo in the future.

The detail and the various different items in the room to help you relax or be creative too! I love books but had to bring my own cause I only know English. But it was nice to be surrounded by books anyways and the smell was great! Host made it a real personal experience as well.

Yoshi’s warm welcome, the vibes and the little touches. Couldn’t fault anything at this price! We’d spent the previous 2.5 weeks in hotels so the suite felt like our very own apartment, which we enjoyed. The location was in a quieter part of Asakusa which we really enjoyed. Some on-hand neighbourhood recommendations would be a great addition but I also appreciate we didn’t cross paths with Yoshi for very long/often.

The room was cozy with great ambiance. Something like Beatrix Potter cottage core meets Lost in Translation. A secret little nook to rest, read a book, and watch a movie (on a projector) in privacy.

Everything. The Toe Library was absolutely the highlight of our time in Japan. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. Entered to lovely incense burning and sweet music playing. After a long trip it was sooo calming. All of the facilities were perfect. Lovely books around to read. The location was great, being close enough to walk to all the excitement but the hotel itself is on a quiet street. The beds and pillows were sooo comfortable! To come back here every afternoon was an absolute treat and we felt completely at home. Once we left we spoke about Toe Library often and missed it. And continue to do so! Yoshi was so kind and so considerate, completely accommodating to all of our requests. Talking to him and hearing how much he wants people to enjoy their time in Tokyo was inspiring and he absolutely achieves this with the effort and time put into the rooms. So much thought and consideration. Cannot wait to return to Tokyo, we will absolutely be staying here again and hopefully for a longer time.
