Just a 5-minute walk from JR Ueno Train Station, the men-only The Nell Ueno Okachimachi provides compact, air-conditioned sleeping capsules with a TV and an alarm clock. Free WiFi is available in all capsule rooms. Complimentary Japanese tea is available in the basement floor.
The sleeping capsules at Nell Ueno are placed side-by-side in a common area, and feature shared bathrooms and toilets. Amenities, a towel and a yukata robe are provided.
Ueno’s Ameyayokoko-cho Shopping Arcade is about a 4-minute walk from this capsule hotel. Sensoji Temple is about a 20-minute journey by train and on foot. Ueno Park is 500 metres away.

Convenient, pretty cheap, and decent onsen/shower area, with towels and toiletries provided. The place was clean and toilets in good condition. To crash for a few hours or just need a bed for a night it’s fine, but staying any longer would suggest a hostel. Very friendly guy on the desk who was professional and helpful.

Almost everything was perfect: the price was great, the capsule herself was very clean and cosy compare other capsule hotel i had been in. The lobby was a very nice and peacful place, and a great place to eat my night meals. But my favorite thing in the hotel was The onsen, very peacful and clean bath which was a great way to finished the day. I hope to return there one day in my next trip.

Staff is very kind, and after a day of walking around sauna and hot bath will get you a new pair of legs. Compared to other capsule I was in people were much more quiet around the sleeping area.
