“Amazing staff, even better location”

I was able to book this place last minute for a night only but it was a great experience! I cannot tell you how friendly the staff was. They were really helpful, they even helped me get into a cab and explained to the driver in Japanese where I'm going. And the location is the best. Right in the heart of Asakusa very close to everything. I really liked this experience of staying in a ryokan, highly recommended

Very friendly and welcoming service from the staff. They absolutely did a great job. Also the room was nice and comfortable. The hotel is settled in a nice, and also one of the oldest places in Tokyo.

The friendliest and most welcoming staff you could imagine. We stayed two nights here and enjoyed the traditional setting though I did add an extra layer of padding to my futon bed. The private bath was lovely after a long day and there were icy poles to enjoy afterwards. The breakfast room (not currently serving meals as at Nov 2024 though) has coffee and cute activities like origami. Overall a great stay.

Charming ryokan, in an excellent location, it was quite special to see the sky tree from the street. The private bath was a lovely addition. The room was spacious for Tokyo. The staff was always kind. Futons were super comfy.

The beds were nice, there weren't any other places with mattresses at floor level at other places we stayed. Private bath is pleasant and included, most other places you'd be paying extra for that.

I loved the private onsen and absolutely everything was in walking distance...everything!!! Also the staff were amazing and super friendly.
