Apart from the weird check-in process through a Skype-call (like why?) - the overall stay was okay. The neighborhood is great and the room was clean.

Owner was very kind, nice and understanding. Location was pretty good too, and they offer free water and towel change. I also like that all those can be done without human interaction.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Spacious for Tokyo and good value for money. The room had a balcony which was a great addition giving it a more spacious feel. The room was very cozy and modern. The hotel had an apartment feel with it being very private, the 7 nights we stayed we barely had any other run ins with other guests. The location was great about a 4 minute walk to the temple, amazing at night when there is nobody else there and is lit up. Plenty of restaurants around and a 7/11 close. I highly recommend staying here if you wanna stay in Asakusa.

We travelled through Japan for a month and this was our favourite stay of the whole trip! Great soundproofing so good for light sleepers. Very clean, really thought about aesthetic in the rooms and the lighting was so nice and comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights and nothing has compared to this for this kind of budget in the rest of Japan for us. The location is amazing as your right next to one of the busiest shrines in Tokyo.

Quiet at night but close enough to the main part of asakusa. Kitchen available downstairs. Place has listened to feedback and help was available at check-in.

The hotel is a little bit hidden away, but we found it with the help of our taxi driver. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Metro station, but it was raining hard when we arrived. We were lucky, someone was at reception to greet us, normally all is done remotely (via a screen with a Skype contact at reception). We first needed to connect to the internet. The room was tiny, but I guess that was to be expected in Tokyo. The area was very quiet during our stay. There is a communal kitchen on the ground floor, with everything one would need. We found the contactless system a bit impersonal, but I guess that is just our personal preference. We were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel after checkout time. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
