Great location- not in the busiest area of Tokyo, but we really enjoyed being able to retreat back to a quieter area on a night time, and easily accessible via metros to all other areas of Tokyo. Metro stop within a one minute walk. Many places to eat/ drink and a seven eleven all within 5 minute walk. Good size room for Tokyo- space to unpack and put an oversized suitcase out of the way, even had a small balcony. Some good facilities- hair dryer, hair straighteners. Really comfortable bed and we loved the powerful shower. We didn’t book this hotel because of the books, mainly the location/ room size and price, but there were a decent selection of English books added to their reception area.

Great location. Jimbocho is a good, central area of the city with easy access to all places. It's good for a local walk-around, too. The book and art stores are good, if that's your thing.

I really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the hotel was, rooms are pretty sound proof. Massage chair was fantastic after a long day exploring. Location was great and staff were so helpful and friendly. One of the bigger hotel rooms we stayed at (in similar price ranges)

There are books everywhere and it is so close to the station. We love the Jimbocho area and knew what to expect from the start (tons of bookstores). Not a conventional area for tourists to stay but will totally recommend - it’s so easy to travel around tokyo too!

Most comfortable beds during our trip to Japan! The bookshelves on each floors are a nice addition and make the hotel an experience, not just a place to sleep. The staff was very communicative, understanding, and concerned when we were delayed because of the Shinkansen crash, which made us feel personally appreciated.

The location is on a subway station and a good one - you can reach Tokyo station easily and all the interesting places the room was spacious for Japan and it was very nice and comfortable - would stay there again if I came back to Japan

I loved this hotel! It was beautiful. As a publisher I loved the idea and concept. It’s quite far from here to get into town, but the concept more than made up for this. The room was big and clean. I want to try the manga library room next time I go to Japan.
