Lovely hotel in a great location. Just a shame we were in the basement… it would have been nice to be able to look out of the bedroom window and see the surroundings. (Choice of bedroom door style was wrong for the building… not in character 😬)

Really nice bar and dining area with superb views. Lovely bright room next to the dining area with local artwork. Loved seeing the little room that Banjo designed! Staff were really good, particularly the dining and breakfast staff.

2 night stay with 2 dogs. Wow what an Insta worthy location. By far the best views out of all the hotels in Tobermory. Excellent base to visit places around the island. Wish we had stayed on the island longer as so much to see and do. Rooms could do with modernisation however, I get the feel of the hotel is vintage, but this can still be kept with a bit of a refresh. Hate single beds were connected to make a king, my only gripe about this hotel. We had a sea view and was stunning. We had excellent service from everyone we met. Particularly liked the lad who has only just joined working for the hotel on the bar and the Romanian girl in the restaurant. They get 5 stars! We felt we had such lovely welcome and service from them. We ate both nights and again, great food, very fussy husband was happy lol Would definitely return. I will make a reel about the place on insta. This hotel needs to onboard a marketing team as not enough is known about it on social media

Lovely, comfortable bedroom and bathroom and the restaurant served good food and had great views. Sam at the Bar and the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.

The property was great lots of lovely rooms to relax in and our bedroom was very clean and spacious. The dog policy was a bit to relaxed I didn’t enjoy them being allowed in the dining room (one almost nicked my hubbies dinner ) the owners didn’t even apologise.

Downstairs bedrooms newly refurbished and were immatlculate with a great view. Good was good and cocktails were also. The social areas need a lot of work and upgrading. Even painting the lounge and art area would go a long way and wouldn't cost the earth!

A lovely hotel- friendly staff, beautiful views, a great bar, and a big breakfast. In the heart of Tobermory and with free parking. I arrived a day late due to a last minute ferry cancellation and they were very accommodating- although they don't offer refunds on that basis (understandably) they had upgraded me for my "second" night from the cheap room I'd booked to a huge one with a view of the harbour.

Was in the perfect location for getting the Tobermory ferry the next morning. It's a gorgeous old victoriana home that's been maintained to a high standard. We had the glenturret room with spectacular views across the water. We only had 1 night there and wish we could've stayed longer to appreciate more of the hotels facilities. We needed to check out at 7am which meant we missed the breakfast but we were given a packed lunch to take with us. The room had 4 beds, 2 single that could be pushed into a double and bunk beds. The shower room was lovely, very clean, nice toiletries to use, pristine white towels. The beds were all comfortable with crisp clean bedding. Room was overall very warm and comfortable, had tea/coffee/hot chocolate. The staff were lovely and very friendly. Loved that the dogs were welcome too 😊
