We had such a great time at this place and we loved the peace and quiet. Santosh is a great host and helped us with kindness and friendliness. We can truly recommend this location close to the wadi and the sea

The location was good, there was a nice pool and the rooms were spacious and clean. The host was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us out.

The photos on booking don't show what this place really looks like. Its very cute with beautiful, well kept garden, children playgrand and indoor swimming pool. Rooms are specious and clean and guys working there extremly nice. I highly recommend staying here.

Fig Shades is a great place to relax and a great base to visit Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi/Mibam. Mr. Santosh is a very kind and helpful host! He helped me arrange a trip to Wadi Mibam at a great price by Omani standards, which is great because the road to get there is difficult. There are also 3 restaurants nearby (10 min walk) as well as grocery shops (5-10 min walk). The garden is beautiful and the swimming pool is also nice. When you reach the big tree on the side of the road (the one that’s shown on Google street view), keep going a few meters towards the flyover and you’ll find a ‘Fig Shades’ signboard. If you can’t read Arabic, it’s the hotel next to 'Tiwi Omantel Telephone Exchange’ on Google Maps.

fabulous location next to Wadi Tiwi. Quirky and unexpected guesthouse with indoor swimming pool and very pleasant shaded patio. very friendly staff. excellent price!!

Very clean room & bathroom, well equipped room. Central location and very convenient if visiting Wadi Shab but nice and private. Good value for money.

Wonderfull...... It was a sort of villa I guess... Total 4 rooms with attached Washroom + following common facilities available * indoor small swimming pool * kids playing area * Sitting area (Majlis) * a kitchen * very beautiful garden maintained inside Overall very satisfying and great value of money👍💯
