Great setting but they need to spend money on the rooms and bathrooms especially and definitely windows. You feel like you are staying in a really rundown building and with the carpark not kept to the best standards with rubbish and scruffy buildings. The staff in pub lovely and breakfast was okay too . Lovely location really pretty the rooms just let it down .

The location was wonderful, evenings by the canal were bliss, with the bar attached, a nice drink could be had relaxing by the canal. Room was clean and fresh, bath also present which was a pleasant surprise

A very quaint, thatched roof pub and restaurant with rooms attached in 2 smaller lodges. The lodges do look a little tired from the outside and not entirely promising! However, our room was warm with a comfortable bed, good pillows and a nice selection of tea and coffee. It was a good size room, too. The shower was hot and powerful. The staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The menu was good with some interesting and tasty vegetarian options (not just the usual veg burger and lasagne!). I had the halloumi flatbread which was huge and delicious! Desserts were also lovely as were the cocktails. The pub has a lovely view of the river. Breakfast was also tasty and plenty to set us up for the day.

Breakfast for lovely, in fact all meals were lovely, one member of staff was extremely helpful and kind, I think her name was Audrey she was a server, to help find out her name , her mum was doing cleaning work and I think her sister works in the kitchen, could you please pass this on to her , thank you

Clean, all you could need, helpful and friendly staff. If you're a big unit, shower area might feel small but I managed.
