Very big comfortable room with great views over the river. Lovely hosts who will do everything to make you feel at home. Delicious homemade breakfast and dinner. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back.

Spacious room, nice and friendly staff, very clean. It all looked very new. The staff also helped us to organize a safari to the Yala park at a good price.

Amazing host, friendly and welcoming. Cooked some great meals, and did our laundry. Helped arrange a Yala safari. Private balcony was so peaceful to sit on.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an exceptional experience. The rooms were clean and tidy, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The view from the balcony was stunning, offering a picturesque landscape that was truly calming. The highlight of my stay was the food – every dish was delicious and well-prepared, showcasing a blend of flavors that left me impressed. Overall, a perfect place for a peaceful getaway!

We had a really lovely stay with Mithila. In addition to helping us arrange a safari at Yala NP (which we highly recommend!) she also gave us a village tour around Tissa, and helped organise a sunset boat trip on Tissa lake (also great). Throughout our trip she was very communicative and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The meals at the homestay were very good, and she was even able to assist with some laundry. The accommodation itself is spacious, modern and has a lovely view over the river - and the location, while a few minutes from town, is very peaceful. We would definitely recommend staying here as a base to see Yala and explore the surrounding area.

Mithila and her husband are so friendly and their service is amazing. They prepared a take-away breakfast at 4am before our safari and the next day the breakfast on the lovely balcony with river view was great.

Everything was amazing! The host and her husband are the sweetest people you will meet and helped us all the time with recommendations of what to see and what to eat. They also organize safari tours, which was an absolute highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. The rooms were comfortable, home-y and extremely clean. The outdoor areas were also great with direct view on a passing river.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host is super friendly and helpful. When we arrived the host offered bikes to explore the area. We cycled around the lake, 100% recommended if you visit this place. The host also booked our trip to Yala National Park, for which she gave several options. The room was very clean and has everything you need. The location is very quiet, except for the river! However you do not hear the river from the room, and outside you can enjoy its soothing nature sound! Thank you Mithila!

Even knocked a fresh passion out of a tree to make fresh fruit juice for us ! Also arranged our full day safari

Super spacious, clean room with comfy beds. Bathroom clean with good shower pressure. The owner is very friendly and organized our Yala safari. Great value for money. Loved staying there.
