I had the best stay here!!! The host was extreamly sweet and helpsom person! Making sure that you didn’t need anything. Very generous and good breakfast and dinner. Excelent location. Short walk to the town and right next to Tissa lake and fruit bat wiew point. I got safari organised by the place and it was beyond any expectations. I saw every possible animal the park has including leopard. And planty of elephants. I give the highest caracter and recomend it for a stay you will not be dissapointed about.

Had the BEST stay here!! Even before I arrived Sadanth had already gone above and beyond, sending me the full bus schedule from Ella to Tissa along with the best stops to be as close to the home stay as possible. He even arranged a Tuktuk to pick me up and drop me off at the bus station. When I arrived he was so lovely and treated me to a fresh coconut before showing me to my room. The room was great and he recommended a few things to do in town if I wanted to explore. He also arranged my Safari trip, which was amazing and a good price considering what I had seen online. It was an early start for the safari but that didn’t stop him from bringing me tea and some fresh fruit before I set off. Honestly such a lovely and kind man. Would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.

What a fantastic location, we had an absolutely incredible stay her. The owner couldn't do enough for us, took us on a bird watching tour, got up before our 0430 safari and gave us breakfast, sorted our bus ticktes to colombo, took us to the bus stop, and even wait for 45 minutes to ensure that we got on the right bus. We also had dinner here which was fab as well. This place really is exceptional.

The room was spacious and clean, bed was big and comfortable with good pillows. The host greeted with a coconut water which was a really nice and sweet gesture! He was really friendly and had a smile on his face at all times and made sure everything is okay and works smoothly. Breakfast was tasty, you can try some traditional Sri Lankan food together with tea/coffee and fresh fruits. The room had a perfectly well working A/C and the bathroom had hot water. A kettle and tea/coffee were also available in the room. Thank you very much for your kindness and warm hospitality!

I had the BEST time here!!!!! The room was clean and very spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Laundry & meals were at a very reasonable price. The food was amazing and in huge portion. The host is the nicest and kindest person ever!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!

We loved staying at this property! The owners were so friendly, and so helpful. We'd already organised a Safari, so didn't go with them, but are sure it'd be great. They helped organise our travel from Udawalawe to Tissa, and also dropped us to the bus station so we could get to Tangalle. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in Sri Lanka- really great portion sizes and so delicious! They even packed us a takeaway breakfast to take on our morning safari (we left at 5.15am, so they made it early for us to take - it was so kind of them, and was great to have a delicious breakfast on our safari). The room was really spacious and clean, the beds were super comfy, the AC worked really well and the WiFi was really strong. The location was also great - walkable into the town, and also just around the corner from the lake, where you can watch the fruit bats take flight in the evenings - this is amazing to watch.
