Very big comfortable clean room. Big swimming pool and good breakfast. Only stayed 1 night for Yala Safari.

We stayed here the night before our safari at Yala which the hotel kindly arranged for us. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the power went out occasionally in the night which made the AC beep a lot. The staff provided excellent, friendly service. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff is very friendly, you can arrange a safari from here. The food is delicious. We thank all the staff. The shower flow rate could be higher.

Service was exceptional. They kindly sorted transfers to and from the hotel at the last minute. They organised a safari and had breakfast pre packed as it was an early start. The food is great (bear in mind big portions- we had too much at lunch and couldn’t have dinner), breakfast was included and you will leave very full. Rooms and pool area were very clean. Staff very welcoming. Would stay again if we return

During my two-night stay at The Coconut Gardens Resort and Restaurant in Tissamaharama, I was genuinely impressed by the service. The staff were amazing—warm, attentive, and always ready to help. A special shoutout to Soro and his team, who went above and beyond to make sure every need was taken care of. The location was ideal, nice and close to Yala National Park, which made it super easy for the early morning safari. The hotel even prepared takeaway breakfasts at 5am for the tour, which was such a thoughtful touch. Mornings were spent exploring, and evenings were all about relaxing by the pool. The food was great, the setting was peaceful, and honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. It was a perfect base for my time in the area.

Fantastic stay here. Great home cooked food.Did a safari which was arranged by the hotel. This is well worth doing. They are so knowledgeable and have been doing these trips for many years. We see leopards Elephant and many more animals.
