This place is just the best if you’re planning a Yala Safari. The room is nice and clean, with a great big balcony. The owners are just so lovely and they organized for us the best full-day safari we could imagine. I highly recommend Nilum as a guide - he is so passionate about his job and just the best we could wish for - we saw a lot of animals thanks to him and even leopard from a VERY close distance thanks to him. Thank you so much!!!

Best host family ever. They took care of everything, prepared the dinner, organised the safari and even gave me a ride to a bus station in a nearby town. 11/10, would stay again!

We had a very comfortable stay here. we just Bly stopped for one night, but the hospitality was amazing. Really kind family and we were received with a refreshing juice. The room was clean and very comfortable. The family who run this company place were so kind, friendly and very helpful. They lent us bikes to go and see the bats at the lake. We got soaked in the rain, the next morning we went on safari and when we came back our clothes were clean and dry. Thank you for a short but wonderful stay.

5* service! Su welcomed me with a big hug and that kidness was constant during my short stay. She brough me a passion fruit juice after my long trip and woke me up with a coffee for the safari. Her husband was waiting with me to help me catch the right bus. The room was spotless, clean and comfortable with a nice balcony.

I loved every bit of it! She was such a lovely host and it really made me feel like home. When we arrived she brought a welcoming drink and also when we had the safari, she woke us up with a cup of tea and coffee✨ at 4am!! lovely. would definitely come back here:)

I am so glad we chose to stay here - the host family are such genuine, warm, helpful and happy people. We didn’t get off at the right bus stop (Debarwewa) and they very kindly arranged for us to be picked up from the Tissa bus stop. Our room was wonderful - comfy beds and pillows, lovely bathroom - everything was new and spotless. There was plenty of room for us and our three teenage sons. There was a couch and coffee table where we could play cards. Susu and Jami cooked us wonderful dinners - the curries were amazing. They organised our safari and Susu woke us up with coffee at 4.15am ready for the safari. Our safari driver - Kassu - was friendly and a great driver. We saw a leopard as well as many other animals. The owners even stood out on the road with us when we left as we wanted to catch a bus - they waved it down and helped us with our bags. Nothing was too much trouble - they let us use the bicycles and we went for a fun ride into town. I would stay again in a heartbeat - my favourite place in Sri Lanka so far!
