Amazing safari with Kumara we saw leopards twice and lots of elephants including a baby! Private pool is well worth the extra, was gorgeous to chill in the evening and watch the water buffalo go past! Wish we had stayed more than one night

The room was even better than we expected, so gorgeous! Staff were so attentive and couldn’t do more for you. The bed was sooo comfy, wish we stayed longer than 1 night!

Very nice hotel with private pool and amazing view. We did the morning safari, got picked up by Kumara and the driver. We had the best safari and saw many elephants very close by! The hotel was clean and looked very good. A bit remote from restaurants but with a TikTok or driver not a big problem.

The most luxurious villa with a pool overlooking a lake and greenery. Great service in a peaceful environment. The pool was the highlight for me, but everything was of high standard, and as a solo traveller, I felt safe and comfortable.

Villa with pool was lovely looking over the lake with wildlife galore inc water buffalo grazing in the mornings. Staff were very pleasant and tried to assist whenever needed.. Would only stay again if staying in a villa with pool

Good breakfast and really lovely staff. Good view of lake from restaurant area, we took binoculars to see birds. The Safari guide Kumara and driver were amazing, we saw so many beautiful birds, elephants and a sloth bear which was great. Kumara was knowledgeable about the animals and their habitat and our driver was very skilled indeed. They tend to focus on seeing leopards and this takes over a bit, as everyone is trying to see the leopards and then areas get congested with jeeps which didn’t feel right as we’re in a nature area. Kumara and our driver were brilliant and really attentive, even stopping off on our way home for us to see a Temple. Thankyou Kumara!

Fabulous view from room. Stunning view from pool. Safari guide Kumara was very kind and an excellent guide. So was our safari driver. A high point of our stay.

Modern ,clean, spacious, villa with beautiful bathroom, fantastic sound system, private plunge pool to die for & wonderful uninterrupted view of the lake.

The room was really nice and spacious with a good bathroom. The bed was big, comfortable, the air conditioning worked great. The biggest advantage is of course the private pool with a beautiful view of the wetland, where there are many species of birds and in the morning water buffaloes and cows graze here, which is absolutely beautiful! They give you towels for the pool - but you have to ask for them. It is also quite close to Yala Park - if you are going on a safari.

Everything about Blue Wild was perfect. The accommodation is nicer even than the pictures. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The safari was arranged with one days notice. Kumara was our very knowledgeable guide. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Kumara and the driver made sure we had the best possible chance to see the animals. We were very lucky we saw leopards, elephants and lots more.. Kumara also gave us an amazing tour around the lakes in the evening. The food was excellent. They catered well for our vegan and vegetarian diets. Please can we have the recipe for the potato curry? I would recommend Blue Wild to my friends and family. I wish we could have stayed longer .
