My one-night stay at Flats Casa de Violeta exceeded all expectations! When I saw the word "flat" in the title, I assumed it would be a simple, standard accommodation. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that I had a charming private cottage all to myself, complete with its own driveway for parking—such a delightful and unexpected bonus! Having spent time visiting various historic towns in Brazil, admiring the beautiful Portuguese colonial architecture, it was a dream come true to actually sleep in one of these picturesque houses. The decor was both tasteful and high-end, creating an atmosphere of understated elegance. The cottage was not only beautifully furnished but also well-equipped with everything I needed. The bathroom was especially luxurious, a welcome change from some of the other places I had stayed during my trip. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the historic center, making it easy to explore the town. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I almost wished I had booked more nights just to enjoy it longer. The breakfast, served in the main building a few minutes away, was fantastic and set me up perfectly for the day ahead.
