“What a beautiful way to explore Tilcara !”

The cabaña we stayed in for 4 nights was very spacious, comfortable and fully self contained with a lovely kitchen. It was wonderful to be able to self-cater and have a relaxing few days with spectacular mountain views. Tilcara is a beautiful Andean town and although it caters to tourism, it is not as overwhelmingly touristy as Purmamarca. We were so glad we chose Tilcara. We love to hike and there are some breathtaking hikes in the area , no car necessary. Local transport is fantastic. We wanted to extend our stay but the cabañas were fully booked. Nearby pueblos are well worth visiting - we recommend Maimara and Uquia. Both have hikes nearby. The owner was very helpful at all times if we had any questions.
