Really central and great for the ferry to Orkney. Incredibly clean. We timed it wrong as the restaurant was closed but looked amazing!

Great location for me dinner was excellent and a comfy bed. Small room but I knew that when booking as a solo traveller. Location good for train and buses.

The breakfast was amazing staff were excellent I arrived very late at night and had to out for a takeaway which they allowed me to eat in the bar I can't say Enough about how welcome I was made

Adequate rooms for a short stay, near the beach (walking distance). Very friendly staff and great breakfast. Plenty of parking space in the vicinity. We enjoyed staying here.

The place was honestly lovely. I can’t believe it is only 2 stars. We had a family room for our couple and our baby. Provided a pre arranged baby cot for us too. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Room had plenty of room, own bathroom was on the small side and very basic but powerful shower and everything you need! The decor of the stairwell is a tiny bit dated but no faults at all with this place. Parking on road just outside the hotel too. Also takeaways located next within seconds of the hotel which suited us well for eating with our baby. The lovely receptionist who was on at night and when we checked in was so nice too. Can’t fault this small hotel. Great stay for one night for our family and would absolutely stay again.

The member of staff we came into contact with was professional and welcoming both as we checked in and at dinner in the restaurant. The food was excellent. We liked the overall easy going nature and ambience of this hotel, located in a lovely town and in our case close to Scrabster Ferry Terminal. It is ideal hotel for a stopover.
