The property and setting were fantastic, several property’s mixed between cottages, lodges. It was very quiet. Exceptionally dog friendly. The property was ample size for a couple with a dog or 2. Or even a small family although only 1 double bed; room for a blowup single bed in the bedroom. The lodge was well equipped and very comfortable. It made an excellent base for exploring the local and wider areas of the lakes. As the location isn’t remote easy access to main roads links. Ample parking, there is a small children’s play area near the cottages, fun steam and jet shower was a nice bonus after long days of walking and climbing. Basic tea/coffee supplies and sachet milk for arrival. Overall great value for money, great communication leading up to and during our stay with the owner although left to our own devices during our stay. Peaceful relaxing stay.

Nice and clean and met our needs. Staff are so lovely. Pub is a short walk away but on a very busy road. A short drive away from Aira force waterfall.
