Peaceful location and freindly staff. Big bonus was getting breakfast deliverd each morning from the owners restaurant. We also ate in the restaurant a couple of times. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed . The lodge itself was clean and comfortable and spacious for four of us. And it was such a treat to have a soak in the hot tub after a busy day sight seeing. If we ever visit York again we will definitely return.

Bacon & egg breakfast sandwich was excellent. Although we brought our own drinks, the fridge had plenty if we had not. Showers worked very well with plenty of hot water.
