Samutra Residences exceeded our expectations. The room and the location were fantastic as well as the staff who were always willing to help. Definitely a place that I would go back if we find ourselves again in Koh Phangan.

Rooms were clean and good if you’re planning on cooking for yourself but I don’t know why you’d do that with all the restaurants around. The location was at the end of dirt roads with very little light. You’ll need a scooter to reach it and be careful because if they spot a scratch they’ll charge you a lot if you borrow one of their bikes, which I don’t recommend doing. Get the bike from somewhere else. The reception is always empty so you have to wait for someone to come if you need anything. When I checked in, they said put the ‘clean room’ sign on the door if you want it serviced. I did that and still didn’t get my room cleaned after I got back from exploring. Finally, the room they gave me was very close to a beach club or something because I could hear the bass through my walls and it didn’t stop until 4am each night. There was only one lady that worked there it seemed, she was polite enough but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Rooms were spacious, modern, and clean. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The swimming pool at the beach front was clean and very nice. It's a great shame this place doesn't offer a restaurant.

seaview from the bed. clean. pool is good. beach is also good for swimming. we visited at beginning of dec. 24. beach towels were provided. small resort, which was way not fully booked at this time

Our second home in Koh Phangan. Absolutely perfect in every way - The rooms are modern and clean, you can see that the owner thought about the little details like the lighting, working desk, and even a Bluetooth speaker. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we had in Thailand! Feels like you're in a cloud... It's also super clean and there is always hot water with very good pressure. The pool of the resort is amazing, it's also big enough to swim in and it's right on the beach with the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. And last but not least - the perfect staff who takes care of everything, especially Ley who is the nicest person in the world!

I loved the room, it was a nice pool area looking over the beach, there were also some nice restaurants which were just a short along the beach and it was close to head in to town. I’ll be back!
