We were unlucky and came after the storms in December. The beach was terribly dirty and nobody even tried to clean it (not just this hotel but all the surrounding as well). We stayed only one night and left, the other side of the island was clean and the sea quiet. Otherwise the room was clean and comfy. Small pool, clean. Staff friendly. The taxi arranged by the hotel is much cheaper then the other ones, use it.

We loved our holiday at Pen’s, such a great place, location is perfect close to the shops and the restaurants , very nice vibe and just at the centre of Thong Nai Pan Yai beach.

The beach that Pen’s Bungalows is on is one of the best on Koh Pha Ngan. And I’ve seen almost all of them. We opted for the cheapest room - fan only - which at a little over 1000 THB was fine, as the room covers all the basics. However, spend 2000 THB and you can get a great room, with bath etc. Our friend did and her pad was sweeet! Much better for a couple too.

The beach is relaxed and comfortable and close to a few restaurants. Pool was nice.
