Very nice room, little bit old decoration but in good condition The view is incredible from the villa and the direct access to the beach was a plus for sure Room service also very good, the food at the restaurants and breakfast are high quality Definitely recommend I will come back

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and we never had to wait long for a ride to and from our villa. We liked the location, walking distance to many good restaurants and massage places. We rented a scooter and were able to see most of the island over the couple of days, enjoying our private pool at the end of the day.

Given the significant discount we got for this booking I'd say the overall impression was very good. For the regular nightly rates, not so much. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfast staff even surprised me with a birthday cake and song. Probably just noticed the birth date in my passport, but still it was a nice gesture. Given the remote location, having complimentary tuktuk transport around the area was a very welcome detail. The room was spacious and clean, but smelled strongly of eucalyptus. Took some getting used to. Bed was enormous and comfortable. Pillows were ok, but not as comfortable as you'd expect. See-through glass wall with a view of the bathroom was strange, to say the least. Is it a thing to want to watch your partner on the toilet? One subpar experience I have to mention was the dinner. Thai food is world renowned but I had never before been served a massaman curry with a whole chicken leg, bones and skin and all. Not what you'd expect from a higher end hotel and definitely not for those prices. Or maybe I'm just not used to high-end massaman.
