The beach was great and very long, with lots of shadowing umbrellas and sunbeds, the structure a bit old but still comfortable and always clean. Food was very good and there was a wide range of choice, especially the live cooking spots (the chefs were very kind and fast). All the staff has been welcoming and fine, a special mention to: -HASSAN from the PADI diving center: he has been a great instructor and made us fall in love with scuba diving. He is also a photographer so he made for us a short film about our immersion: a memory we will always keep in our heart. Also very punctual and professional. -CHATHURANGA from the restaurant: he was the best supervisor ever: always very careful and smiling. He made every meal more pleasant. -YOOSUF from the boat excursion: he was so funny and easy going, he is a local and told us a lot about his island.

The staff really were nice. The location was incredible, island locals friendly, beautiful beach, flowers, trees, food and drinks very nice, clean, interesting things to do. Relaxing, good vibe. Good for couples, families or solo travelers. There were quite a few solo travelers.

If you are visiting Maldives then this is the place. Personally I think the food buffet is exceptional, the staff are really friendly and the beach / surroundings are beautiful! Feed the sharks at 6:30pm - such an amazing experience! Best resort I have visited so far, make sure you book it!

Our stay at Plumeria, on a secluded island, was absolutely unforgettable. From the warm welcome to every thoughtful detail, everything was perfect. The hotel beautifully blends luxury with sustainability, offering comfortable rooms with stunning views. The variety of activities, like diving and hiking, allowed us to fully appreciate the natural beauty around us. The dining was also exceptional, with fresh and authentic dishes. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique and paradise-like experience!

Although there were a few small things that needed fixing or adjustment – for example, in our room, the bidet wasn’t working properly, and there was a water leak. I’m not sure if this was what caused the unpleasant smell in the bathroom, something like mold or dampness, but it was noticeable. However, aside from this maintenance issue, I had no other problems with the hotel. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the staff are absolutely wonderful, and the breakfast is exceptional. The location is stunning as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hotel Plumeria – it’s well worth a stay!

it was amazing holidays. nice cozy hotel on a beautiful local island. comfortable room with everything you need. the bed is made for good sleeping. staff is very friendly and do their best for guests. bikini beach is close. there is a pool and good spa. tasty food. it's wonderful to dine by the beach and watch passing rays and crabs on the sand. every evening sharks feeding near the hotel. unforgettable. crab race was fun. a lot of excursions to choose. well organized. snorkeling with sharks, turtles and manta rays is a must. lifetime experience. there are souvenir shops and supermarkets on the island to buy what you need. transfer to the airport on a comfortable speed boat. everything was great. hope to back

The staff is very friendly, polite and kind. All people (from room keepers, waiters, to dive center tour guides) have been really nice and attentive to our needs. We made friends with Yooko who took us on an amazing snorkel tour along with his colleague.. also we made friends with Dumindu and Roshan, they are incredibly kind people and we are happy to have met them! We hope to stay friends with all the persons that we interacted with on Thinadhoo, which brings me to why you should choose an inhabited island and not a resort island - it’s the people. Hearing their stories, making memories together, learning from each other.. nothing compares to that. The island currently is looking beautiful with lush vegetation, palm trees (not the industrial look that other islands in maldives have!). I say currently because there were some properties under construction so hopefully, they will leave the rest of the land untouched. It’s a small corner of paradise, the reef is great, we even saw 2 turtles on the reef of bikini beach! The great part about visiting this maldivian island is that you can get to see a lot of marine life without having to put in so much effort. There will be stingrays and nurse sharks close to the shore and many fish on the house reef. Also dolphins when cruising on the boat!

It was the second time at Plumeria. We enjoyed so much last year, that we decided to stay longer this time, 12 days. Everything was perfect, everybody was truly friendly, starting with the Direction, Mr. Azeez and Mr Kumara, to all the hotel Staff, Reception, Restaurant and Diving and water Sports Centre. Special thanks also to Yokoo and Hassan ( diving instructor). We recommend a lot this hotel and for sure we will come back in the future.

Plumeria is in a perfect position, beautiful sea and coral reef, long bikini beach with all the furnitures free for Plumeria hosts. Rooms are clean and big. Excursions organised by the Plumeria team are a lot and prices are contained. Euro is accepted everywhere as well as credit card.
