In general it didn't quite match up to its publicity. no specific complaints but a slight feeling of disappointment

We had requested a twin bedded room, but were given a double. I don't know whether this was fault of booking. com or the hotel. We managed to get it changed. Restaurant was excellent. Good menu beautifully presented. Very peaceful.

Very nice room overlooking well kept gardens. Excellent dinner in restaurant. Very convenient stop over on journey south.

Very good adapted room and facilities for wheelchair user. Good quality restaurant with interesting menu and very pleasant, helpful staff. Plenty of parking spaces. Nice secluded setting. Close to motorway.

Basically a motel in a convenient location, but with some added extras like a lovely restaurant and nice grounds. Comfortable and friendly. Breakfast was good.
