The Koala House is a great option for a family gathering, with plenty of room for big dinners but also for everyone to have space to do their own thing. The Koala House felt suitably seperate from the rest of Koala Shores, but with easy access to enjoy the facilities where wanted.

Location, beautiful setting, lots of bird life , water views, clean. Nice pool. Cabin was clean and air conditioned. Every thing worked. Sheets and towels clean. Staff friendly.

We stayed with our family for a week in early January. It was a great base for our holiday, close enough to explore attractions in Nelson Bay, but quiet and removed from the busy holiday traffic.

Facilities were great, tennis court, table tennis and the pool is fantastic! We were so lucky getting a pool side cabin, directly across from the pool and it's great value for money, with spa included in our room.

Great place to stay. Beautiful scenery with the river frontage and all the walking tracks. The park amenities are top notch and all clean. Booking was easy and staff were very friendly.

The cabin was tidy and comfortable, and mostly pretty clean (to the point it strongly smelled of bleach when we first arrived and we had to air it out a bit). It had the basic essentials (toaster, microwave, kettle, plates, cutlery, glassware, clother airer etc), a nice big new TV (which was good to see although we didn't really use it) and a good sized couch. The bed was relatively comfortable with sufficient additional blankets and pillows. The kids loved the pool area and had lots of fun there. There's also a couple of playgrounds and a jumping pillow to keep the kids occupied.
