Mu was lovely. Very friendly, excellent English. The accom was great. Good hot shower with strong water pressure, comfortable bed, and good AC. We did a tour with one of Mu’s guides, Sapwandy (Andy). He was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and charismatic.

Lovely staff, very friendly and honest people. Unique, fresh and clean local food. Nor to forget the fantastic home made sambal terasi ;) Very flexible service if you need vegetarian and/or glutenfree options. Very quiet and peaceful place, surrounded by nature. First class half day tour around Tetebatu with great local guide.

I absolutely loved my time at Mu’s Homestay - in-fact, it was one of the highlights of my two month trip! Sometimes, Ryan and Andy are the kindest people and make you feel like part of the family in their beautiful homestay. I’m already planning a trip back to Tetebatu to visit!

I LOVED my time at MU Homestay. Mr Mu's team are simply excellent hosts and I loved chatting with them. MU helped me organise my onward travels and has a reliable driver if you need help getting there. Highlights for me were the tour with Andi where you can step out of the back garden to start the tour, and then Ryan's food was so good! Would highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful homestay in the heart of Tetebatu Village. Mu, his family and staff were all so friendly and welcoming and made myself and other guests feel part of the family. The location is perfect as well, in the middle of the village close to the rice fields, waterfalls and monkey forest. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Indonesia and I would love to stay there again

Location and hospitality and home cooked food, friendly service. Hike with Andy was amazing, highly recommend doing the rice field, waterfall and monkey forest hike

We really enjoyed our stay with Mu and his employees. Everything was great. The best thing were the people who made our stay really something special! We were treated like family. When in Tetebatu you have to come here!!

My son (8) and I had the best time here! Stayed in a nice bungalow in the middle of a garden, next to the rice fields. Mu, his family and team treated us like family, my son could take part in all daily activities which he really enjoyed, like feeding the chicken, cutting grass for the cows, cooking traditional meals, playing chess with the team... All Activities and excursions were very interesting (walk through the rice fields, hike in the monkey forest, walk to a beautiful waterfall, visit to a traditional stick fight, visit to a basket weaving community, making coconut oil, roasting, grinding, making coffee the traditional way...). Everyone was so friendly, food was really tasty. Excellent service and value for money, but above all - such a warm welcome, and so much fun!
