Hotel Overview

In gardens and woodland, the Hare & Hounds is a charming, traditional English country house hotel, with a popular restaurant and bar. The Westonbirt National Arboretum is half a mile away.
There are bedrooms in the original house, as well as the Garden Cottage and Coach House. Many overlook the gardens or countryside. All have free Wi-Fi internet access.
The Beaufort Restaurant has original features such as a beamed ceiling, and large windows that overlook the garden. The more casual Jack Hare’s is a cosy bar with log fires, real ales and tasty meals.
The Hare & Hounds Hotel is just off the A433 road, with easy access to the M4 and M5 motorways. It is 20 miles from Bath, 2 miles from Tetbury.

The lovely staff were so friendly and welcoming, the room was very comfortable and inviting and the service was excellent. I only had a starter from the menu and it was absolutely lovely, will definitely go there again.

All the staff were welcoming and pleasant. The room was warm and very comfortable even though it was cold outside. Plenty of choice of facilities to relax; lounge, bar, dining room. Excellent breakfast. Great location for walking in the Cotswolds, straight from the front door.
