Reviews “Disapointing,looks great but does not deliver”
Off street car parking, the bath, walking distance to town, space, large house.kitchen and laundry facilities. Character property. Oven was good. Wifi was good. We advised the owner on the night of our arrival of some of these issues and received a message back telling us that we should find alternative accomodation and she would refund us our money however the town was booked at 930pm, we needed accomodation for 5 nights , it was freezing we were exhausted after a flight and 3 hour drive so we advised that we would be happy to stay. The next morning a message arrived with an apology. Please note the address is rouse street however this is actually the new england highway and a convoy of semi trailer trucks moves through this street right in front of the house all day and night every day and night so bring your ear plugs with you!!!!! The property needs a good clean , every shelf, drawer etc . There was only one coat hanger in the house. Not enough hot water for 3-4 adults to shower/bath. We found an electric blanket finally in a cupboard. Lots of potential and but photos look great but disapointing for us, not everyone should be in hospitality. Also the toilet is cracked and probably needs to be replaced . The laundry and toilet room are messy. Kitchen drawers dirty utensils and missing items. Need to do an audit. No local information about the town or services, this review is the reality of this property. If this was my lovely house I would be looking into who I am paying to clean and look after it in my absence. If I got a message like ours I would have dealt with it straight away and been horrified and had someone go the next day to clean/ replace what was broken and fix what was missing and not fit for purpose. And i would have apologised heartfelt.

The owner’s care and attention to detail. Comfort level is high with options to sit and eat or relax on the verandah and in the backyard. Highly recommended.
