Quirky rooms. Really good food & interesting food. Less-good on the ale front (real ales are put through a chiller, sadly). Lady in charge was very welcoming and charming.

Warm & welcoming public spaces. Comfortable, big bed. Food was very good, using fresh produce. Lady in charge was charming and staff all very helpful.

Location was great as attending a family party in the village. Room (anise) was comfortable with all the facilities I would expect(tea/coffee making, TV with ITVX BBC iPlayer etc) bathroom with shower and bath. Breakfast was cooked fresh and delicious.

Superb breakfast. Amazing restaurant meals. Located on a busy road but didn't really disturb. Historic, characterful, and quirky (there is a swing in most of the bedrooms). Good parking on site and easy access to lots of interesting places.

The staff were welcoming and friendly explaining where our room was, are room was comfy and quirky.the evening meal was really good and so was breakfast would definitely stay again.

The staff were really lovely. They were most welcoming and particularly accommodating of the dog. The food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast The garden was very Locke and it was great to have a place to let the dog off the lead safely.

What an amazing property fantastic bar REASTAURANT and amazing gardens. Check in out was wonderful amazing fantastic helpful staff. With out of this world food so tasty. Loved my bedroom even had a swing in my room strees free.
