There is an en-suite bathroom and access to the leisure facilities. Most rooms have views of the landscaped gardens and all come with biscuits and bottled water.

The bedroom contains more oak panelling and a four-poster bed. There is an en-suite bathroom next to the lounge area with a bathtub. The room also includes biscuits and bottled water. It is the biggest room in the hotel.

The pool, spa area was clean with nice staff. Needs a bit of an update. The main bar and dining room were nice. The menu is a bit basic in the restaurant and a bit expensive for what you get.

Hotels like this are endangered properties so I always book them-Downton for Travelodge money ! Massive rooms historic interiors but maybe a bit tired and aged they are trying hard here the leisure centre is great too Book now because many other hotels like this are now housing imagrants!

Lovely old building. Super grounds. Huge room with a four poster bed. Large bathroom, plenty of towels. Good food. Some updating of furnishings and decoration would help. Did not get time to use the pool and spa but would if I was staying longer.
