the staff were friendly and helpful especially the breakfast waitress.. really enjoyed staying here again and fear i might be one of the last guests as i understand the hotel was closing once the guests had checked out on my last morning... a pity to see it close its doors and a shock for the staff team who all still diligently carried out their work in the face of their sad news

Location was great for me. Room and communal areas was pretty much as expected. Food in evening was nice with a good selection. Accommodation was good value for money.

Everything was lovely and as expected, whilst is is a little dated, it remains part of the charm and we enjoyed our visit greatly, we had our wedding reception here 39 years ago and the hotel lived up to our memories. We gathered here for a family reunion, the first in 45 years and everyone loved the hotel. The staff went above and beyond their roles to ensure we had a wonderful stay.

The hotel is very luxurious and set in beautiful grounds. Minutes from the M54 and easy to find. Staff were very helpful and polite. I would definitely return, I had a lovely stay.
