This place is family run and the manager was exceptionally helpful and friendly over the busy New Year period when a lot of places in NZ shut down. It's a lovely location, out of town with amazing views of the mountains and very few sandflies, if any. Well-equipped kitchen and excellent commercial fridges. Plenty of dining space.

This was easily one of the best places we have stayed at in a long time! The location is excellent, friendly staff, great kitchen, clean and tidy rooms and the views..my goodness what a view! We had a room for the 5 of us for 2 nights. Our kids loved meeting people from all walks of life and from many different places. Definitely book here if you can!

The view was nothing short of spectacular. When we arrived we hadn't really planned our next few days and we just sat with the views and used the recommendations from Ingrid to figure it out. Ingrid's recommendations worked perfectly for us and if we had gone with our original idea, we wouldn't have been able to do nearly as much as we wanted to. The kitchen was clean and spacious and the common area was very comfortable. It's a little outside of the main town but the quite and view make up for that. Plus you can be in town in under a 10 min drive

The beautiful surroundings and view. Great location that was close to town but not in the busy town centre over the New Year period. It was lovely watching the animals at the end of the day from the front of our accommodation. Great place young families.

Such a cozy place and a super friendly Nina even borrowing an umbrella to reach the cabins from the main house during a long rain.
