This is a fantastic place. We were greeted each morning by the lovely staff, Filomena and Khadak. They went out of their way to make each guest welcome and cared for. The facility is beautiful. The food delicious and the location very central. Any guest would be lucky to stay at this establishment!

The 3 staff made this place exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. They were very good, kind, thoughtful and very pleasant. We were unexpectedly late arriving and Filomena, the manager, stayed late to wait for us and made sure we were looked after and settled before she left. Lovely breakfast every day, prompt and thoughtful service. Reasonably priced drinks. Extremely clean. The location was excellent. Everything was walkable. The lounge, a very pleasant place to relax in the evening with a great little arm chair nook tucked away by the window balcony which was lovely for a quiet read. Our bed was very comfortable. We had no problem finding parking on the road outside the hotel. Even when busy we always found a place at the top of the road. It's great to see how the character of this place has been preserved. A great stay and I would visit again

The welcome from Filomena was wonderful and throughout my stay. Nothing was too much trouble, loved chatting to her and her team were also very good. The house had lots of character and the lounge area was extremely comfortable to relax in.

Everything at Tavira house was wonderful. Filomena and her staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. The building itself is stunning and the location great, we were lucky to be able to park directly outside and then just leave the for the duration of our stay as everything is walkable. We had a lovely room with a comfortable bed, good quality bedding and towels. Breakfast on the terrace each day was delicious and in the evenings we enjoyed a pre-dinner drink on the sun terrace or beautiful communal rooms. Would highly recommend.

The staff went out of their way to make it a great stay. The room and public areas were spotless. The breakfast was served to us (no buffet). The location was a short walk to the center of town; the town itself was what we wanted ina place to stay: beach access, a variety of restaurants and cafes and friendly people. We felt very safe walking around in the evening. When we had to leave it felt like we were leaving our home We hope to return someday and for longer than three nights
