Carla was absolutely lovely welcoming us and paying attention to our needs. All the place is cozy and feels like home. It's decorated with good taste and has beautiful views from the bedrooms and terrace. I highly recommend. Thank you!

the location was great, right on the river and close to bus station, bars and restaurants. Only 20 minute walk to train station. Roof terrace was nice with great views of the river and a place to chill out.

Carla was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Rooms were comfortable and exactly as described. Great location and the terrace was lovely to sit on in the evening and look out over the river.

The guesthouse is about 150m from Tavira’s main square, and looks over the river to the restaurants and buildings on the South side. It’s on a quiet street not far from the bus station, an added bonus if you are not travelling by car. We were met by the friendly Carla on arrival, who showed us the facilities and to our room. The rooms are themed, and outside each door in the hallway is a small sheet of information about a different aspect of Tavira’s history. There is a lot of character and effort that has gone into making the guesthouse welcoming. The air conditioning worked very well, although we didn’t need it.

A great location right on the river with the castle one block behind. An easy walk to all of the sights, restaurants and cafes of Tavira. The host is lovely and was ready to offer suggestions whenever asked. Use of a fridge and other facilities in a common area was a nice bonus.
