Beautiful location surrounded by lovely gardens- very peaceful. The house itself was full of quirky knick knacks and delightful pieces of furniture. We felt immediately at home- very cosy and warm. Kahu also left milk and cereal for us to use, which was a lovely touch. We also made use of the washing machine and the outside furniture where we ate our fish and chips while listening to the bird song. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!!

Lovely, comfortable cottage with great facilities. It had the most beautiful garden and sitting areas, with birds and bird song. Incredibly relaxing, we wished we could have stayed longer. Great host.

We loved the location-a peaceful spot just out of town. The Homestead is beautifully presented and full of character set in a stunning garden. Kahu provided everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible from breakfast to freshly picked spring flowers from the garden placed around the house.

Everything we needed for a quick trip away. Very clean and tidy. The heat pumps did a great job but you can’t beat the lovely warm fire keeping us toasty each night.
