Great location, we had a family room for 5 people, good space & layout, nice outdoor space with a view of the lake, friendly & helpful staff, the walk back into town along the lakeside path was great, we would definitely stay here again 😃

Just lovely! Big generous room (lakeside studio), GORGEOUS view and delightful hosts. We stayed in a balcony room. Thermal pool on the property, and a little thermal stream that goes into the lake just at the edge of the property - we only found this as we were leaving but it would be really lovely to swim near! It’s a longish but pleasant walk into town in nice weather, and a quick drive if not. Highly recommend this place!

The people welcomed me nicely. The room was lovely - fresh and clean But basic so overpriced. The position and view was wonderful I will definitely return each time i am in Taupo possibly annually as long as Clearwater offer me a better reasonable price. Thank you

We spent three nights staying & our room was on the ground floor, directly facing the lake. Beautiful views, nice patio area, thermal heated floors, comfortable bed. Handy to town to walk or drive. Good swimming in front of the lodge with thermal stream running into the lake so bit warmer than other spots. Would happily stay again.
