The property is situated at the top of the hill, very quiet n private. Nina is a great host, she cooked our breakfast n made sure we were well looked after.

Nina did everything possible to make our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was perfect, as well as the dinner when we had it at the Chalet. The wine is very good also. For our Tongariro treck, Nina prepared everything to take away and eat. We felt like home, discussing any kind of subject with Nina. As a coincidence, there is even a Cartier-Bresson black & white picture of our countryside in Seine-et-Marne (France) in Nina's living room. If we go back to NZ, we will have a stop at the Chalet Eiger.

Nina our host was particularly helpful and accommodating. And we needed a late checkout, which she was happy to provide. The breakfast was outstanding, as was the accommodation.

BreakfSt was excellent. Food and presentation was very beautiful. Absolutely excellent everything. Hospitality was the best service. Welcome us as if we were family.
